Compassion and volunteerism in remote regions
Section XIII Fellows prioritize community service through
the College’s mandate. In 2025, a specialized team from
the Section traveled to Yuexi County and Ma’erkang City,
remote ethnic minority regions in the Liangshan and Aba
Prefectures, to deliver humanitarian care. This delegation
conducted volunteer oral health programs at local kinder-
gartens, teaching children proper hygiene
techniques. These efforts brought practical
care and health awareness to underserved
communities while fostering the next gen-
eration of oral health leaders.
