The College leadership along with our hosts, the Japan Section, are looking forward to welcoming ICD delegates, Fellows and guests from all over the world to Nagoya, Ja- pan, for the International Council meeting, Symposium and Centennial Gala dinner and Induction Ceremony. All can expect a very warm welcome in the country where the Col- lege was founded. • The Centennial will be enhanced with the Council meeting devoted to the Symposium on College Humanitarian and Educational Programs. The Symposium, which will run con- currently with the International Council meetings, will review and establish guidelines for the continued maintenance and expansion of ICD initiatives. • Extensive planning is underway, with the cooperation of our Fellows in Japan and other commercial support, to provide touring options in order to ensure a unique and memorable Centennial experience for Fellows, families and guests visiting Japan for the meeting and festivities in 2020. The tours will provide options both during the time of the Council meeting, as well as pre-and post-conference tours. More information and instructions for registration, accom- modations, touring selections and advice will be posted on the Nagoya page of the Centennial website as they be- come available. • The Gala Banquet will be a once-in-a-lifetime event that will take place on November 13, 2020, in Nagoya. The fina- le to the Centennial celebration year and excitement for the start of a new century for the College will feature a unique salute to our amazing ICD history, many surprises and, of course, a magnificent gastronomical experience. • The International Induction Ceremony will take place along with the Gala evening. We already have commitments from the Philippines and European Sections to have their board meetings in Nagoya. The USA Section and other Sections will be offering the option to approved nominees to be in- ducted in Nagoya. Sections who have not made their inten- tions known are requested to advise the College Office of their expectations regarding participation in the Induction Ceremony no later than September 1 of this year. ICD INTERNATIONAL AND SECTION OFFICERS along with industry leaders from Japan will be working together to make the ICD Nagoya meeting a huge success.
