I started my term during the general Convocation and Induction Ceremony that took place in Mexico City in November of 2015. From the beginning, I have focused my work on giving a clear message of commitment and renewal for our honorable College so that we can ensure our leadership position within the changing dental profession of our country. It is very important for our Section to have a tangible presence within the decisions and the development of the rules and regulations that guide our profession in Mexico, this through our presence as a College that works in conjunction with the major dental associations of our country, as well as with the Mexican Government Health Authorities. he irst task of my joint work force was optimizing our web page to make it more modern, easier and friendlier to use with accessibility for anyone who needs to consult it. With this we are opening possibilities of using social media as a tool for the consultation of academic information. At this Regency, Mexico Section is taking care of the dental needs of the Orphan Home “Cenáculo de Guadalupe” under the direction of Drs. Alfonso González C., Joaquín González C. and Miguel Sánchez- Aedo L., with the collaboration of many Fellows from this Regency.
