The International College of Dentists has been Honoring the World’s Leading Dentists Since 1920

Dentists who have been awarded the prestigious title of FICD (Fellow, International College of Dentists) are currently located in 122 countries worldwide. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only. A nominated dentist must pass a rigorous, peer-review process leading to the recognition of the individual’s “outstanding professional achievement, meritorious service, and dedication to the continued progress of dentistry for the benefit of humankind.”

ICD Fellows helped facilitate a successful five-day outreach project that provided dental treatment, education and oral hygiene products in Guatemala City.

International Dental Volunteer Projects: Over a Century of Experience

The program focuses on international volunteerism around the world, including how to facilitate volunteer projects and best practices when volunteering internationally. The panel of ICD experts, including USA Fellows Dr. Frank Serio, Dr. Jack Levine and Dr. Steve Mackler, shares their experiences and thoughts on the joys and challenges of international volunteerism, as well as the cultural, logistical and sustainability considerations.

ICD-WUDAA Scholarship recipients announced

Six dental students have been awarded the $2,500 scholarship from the worldwide International College of Dentists (ICD) and the Washington University Dental Alumni Association (WUDAA) Scholarship Program. The 2022 recipients are Colton Cannon, Noureldein Elshamma, Sylvette Ramos-Diaz, Jaskamal Singh, Andrea Stager and Ashley Zhang.

International President Richard Smith: Mid-year update
