Why the GOHLI?

At the Global Oral Health Leadership Institute (GOHLI), we don’t just teach leadership—we ignite it. Our year-long program is designed to equip you with the skills and connections needed to tackle oral health issues.

  • Virtual sessions and an in-person residential course blend strategic theory with hands-on experience.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of global leaders from all walks of oral health.
  • Become part of an exclusive alumni network, supporting each other in spearheading change across continents.

Combating Global Oral Health Challenges

The former Senior Dental Leaders (SDL) program, managed by Global Child Dental Fund (GCDF), graduated over 200 oral health leader participants worldwide.

ICD acquired the program and relaunched it as the ICD Global Oral Health Leadership Institute in 2024. ICD will continue to deliver the one-year certification program for health leaders while expanding its Alumni Network focused on collaboration, mentorship and engagement. Integrating a growing and diverse group of trained leaders with the oral health challenges facing disadvantaged communities will help facilitate the sharing of ideas, best practices and expertise.

Our Goal: Bring systemic and sustainable solutions to oral health problems on local, regional and global levels
