ICD receives Consultative Status with the U.N. Economic and Social Council
The College was granted Special Consultative Status with the U.N. Economic and Social Council, ensuring access to important discussions and special events organized by the President of the General Assembly.
Under ever-changing circumstances due to the ongoing pandemic and other conflicts, ICD Sections and Regions have combined new and traditional methods to continue honoring deserving dentists with Fellowship worldwide.
ICD-WUDAA program awards record-breaking number of scholarships
This year, the ICD-WUDAA Scholarship program granted five dental students with $2,500 scholarships each to use towards their dental education and materials.
On Dec. 9, the ICD Understanding Antimicrobial Resistance program produced a live webinar on antibiotic prescribing, which featured 5 international panelists and offered continuing education for credit for the first time.
The two digitally-produced 2021 Globe issues, including the most recent "Section Reports", have been bound into one combined print edition, available for both Fellows and as bulk purchases for Sections.
