The 2025 Master Fellows: Recognizing Extraordinary Service to the College

Last year, the College acknowledged four Fellows with Master Fellowship, commemorating their extraordinary service and leadership to the ICD.

An ICD Section may nominate a Fellow, who has rendered extraordinarily conspicuous and outstanding service to the College, for Master Fellowship which is considered to be a rare distinction only bestowed to Active or Life Fellows with the approval of the International Council.   The individually numbered Master Fellowship Medallion is presented to the awardee with the Master certificate along with the rights to use the letters “MICD” after their names. Less than one percent of the current College roster of over 12,000 Fellows are Master Fellows.

To qualify for consideration, the Fellow must first have maintained active membership in the College for at least 15 years and served in their Section or Global leadership, for a minimum total of 10 years.
