ICD Global Launches First-Ever Capital Campaign

Thanks to early support of nearly $1 million (US) from Fellows and other donors, ICD Global has launched the Building a Legacy of Impact Campaign to help pursue the College’s long-term strategic priorities.

“As we explored the feasibility of a campaign over the past year, the response to the effort from ICD global and Section leaders dramatically exceeded our expectations,” said Campaign Co-Chair Joe Kenneally.

The success of this campaign will strengthen the global community of ICD Fellows, expand support for humanitarian oral health initiatives and dental education, enhance the value of Fellowship, and enable the College to engage in collaborative partnerships worldwide.

The campaign aspires to raise $2,000,000 (US) or more towards four key initiatives:

● The Global Oral Health Leadership Institute (GOHLI)
● The Global Visionary Fund (GVF)
● Enhancing the Fellow and Section Experience
● A Strategic Financial Reserve Fund

“I have chosen to help lead the Building a Legacy of Impact Campaign because it is a tremendous honor to be an ICD Fellow. We are one family in ICD. Supporting the campaign is an investment in our humanitarian work,” offered Campaign Co-Chair Hsin-Cheng “Leo” Liu.

In the coming months, ICD will invite support from Fellows, Sections, civic-minded companies, foundations and others with a vested interest in ICD’s ongoing mission and objectives.
