Our College is working on approval of preventive dentistry programs that are urgently needed in Mexico. Activism and Leadership hanks to the outstanding trajectory and active role of our Fellows who lecture and teach at diferent universities, academic activities have been held at diferent Regencies that provide the teachers and lecturers with meetings and scientiic events. ICD Section III has had an active observation and selection labor evaluating which candidates will become the best future Fellows for the Mexico Section, starting ahead with enough time to establish the candidates with the best proiles so that one day they can lead Section III into a more prestigious and certain future. Also, mobile dental equipment transported by vans and trucks allowed the care of these patients in smaller rural zones. his event aims to bring dental professionals to the communities that need them most. Basic, restorative and surgical dental services, as well as oral health prevention and general health promotion activities, were done. Of the 10 communities, a little over 2,000 patients were treated. Dental students, dental interns, nurses, dental assistants and dentists of diferent specialties took over the task of treating this needy population of patients from the State of Yucatan.
