ICD Korea Section offers a month- ly academic seminar for members in which we study the subject of new topics and developments in the dental and cultural science fields. We are seeking a more progressive relationship with Japan and Taiwan ICD Sections by regularly visiting each other. Our activities, as well as newly-developed information, are all provided on our website. ICD Korea Section signed the MOU with one of the largest book companies in Korea. This company regularly provides books to ICD members to improve humanistic knowledge. We select excellent President’s Greeting Khung Sun Kim A s the president of Korea Section of the International College of Dentists (ICD), I give you a warm greeting. I am very happy to be with ICD, a group of honorary leader dentists. Over the last several years, ICD Korea Section has achieved a big success by inducting many great new members. ICD is a volunteer group that ac- tively pursues social service. ICD Korea Section has continuously preformed dental services to refu- gees from various countries. We have published oral health data and books in various foreign languages and distributed them to elemen- tary schools and orphanages for improving oral health in neighbor- ing countries. I strongly believe that ICD Korea Section will provide a way to become a great dentist. 2018 Initiation Ceremony The 2018 ICD Korean New Mem- bers Recognition Ceremony and Regular General Meeting was held on May 26, 2018, at Seoul Club Hallasan Room. Nine new mem- bers were welcomed on this day. More than 215 members are now actively participating in ICD Korea. Education and Humanities The Korea Section hosts meetings monthly for members regarding academics, humanities, leadership and psychology. Professor Yond-Dae Kwon, from Kyung Hee University School of Dental Medicine, was one of the in- vited speakers on March 19, 2018. Professor Kwon shared his excel- lent knowledge and experimental CULTURAL EVENT Mr. Kim Hyung-Oh, past chairperson of Korean Congressman spoke at the Cultural Conference held on June 27, 2018.
